From this beautiful apartment in Vienna you can walk to one of Vienna's most important streets, Mariahilfer Straße.
Mariahilfer Straße combines many important features for Vienna (both historically and in the present):
This street connects the two residences of the Habsburg emperors and empresses. We are talking about the Hofburg in the city center (winter residence) and Schönbrunn Palace (summer residence) in Hiezing. Furthermore, the beginning and the end of Mariahilfer Straße are marked by large-scale museum complexes. At the end stands the last major museum building of the K and K monarchy, the Technical Museum (with the Auer-Welsbach-Park) in Penzing and at the beginning is the MuseumsQuartier in Neubau. Not to mention Mariahilfer Straße and its surroundings as the largest and most famous shopping streets in Vienna.
After a few steps you can also reach the nearest underground station (U3 and U6), which will take you to the city center in a few minutes, as well as the tram lines 6,9,18, 49, 52 and 58. Also in a few steps from the apartment is one of Vienna's main international train stations – Westbahnhof, from where a direct bus line to Vienna Airport leaves.
