Additional information

We offer single rooms, double rooms, triple rooms and a family room with shared use of bathroom, kitchen and hallway in a rural location. The spacious bathroom including washing machine and steam shower as well as a fully equipped fitted kitchen are available for shared use. Free Wi-Fi included.
Seating in the garden and free parking space on the property are also part of the equipment.

The transport connection by car is guaranteed by the junctions to the B236 and B253. Several bus lines connect Battenberg with the neighboring communities and the surrounding area.
Bus stop 100 m

The bypass of the main road, which will be completed shortly, will also make the university town of Marburg quickly accessible.
Train connections to Marburg and the Upland are available in Münchhausen with free parking spaces at 7km.
Battenberg is enthroned on a hilltop above the Eder and belongs to the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg.
Together with the districts of Berghofen, Frohnhausen, Laisa and the state-approved climatic health resort of Dodenau, about 5,500 inhabitants live in Battenberg.
The surrounding area offers numerous leisure activities with historical regional landmarks such as the Hansel and Gretel fountain in Battenberg or the historic castles and palaces. In the immediate vicinity there is also a ski area and the Winterberg summer toboggan run. Hesse's largest reservoir, the Edersee, is also a popular destination.
